Buli is named once the buri palm. Alabang is named after the river that passes through the barangay. Ayala Alabang was designed by Batas Pambansa Bilang 219 from Barangay Alabang. Sucat obtained its name in the vernacular word "sukat", which suggests "measurement" because it was calculated during the Spanish era.: from a person position to a differ
